Chef de Partie
The Chef de Partie is responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation and presentation meet the establishment's high standards. They collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., pastry, grill, or sauce).
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and quality standards.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in your section.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in your work area.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and kitchen policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Barista
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages while delivering exceptional customer service. They ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the coffee station and contribute to the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and grinders.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and fulfilling their orders promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the coffee station and seating area.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Upsell and promote menu items as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and latte art is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for coffee.
Service Crew
The Service Crew is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly.
- Take and process food and drink orders accurately.
- Serve orders to guests efficiently and courteously.
- Handle payment transactions and operate the POS system.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables and floors.
- Assist in restocking supplies and setting up dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or the F&B industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekends.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Kitchen Commis
The Kitchen Commis assists in basic food preparation and kitchen operations. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience and develop skills in a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Help with inventory management, including unpacking and storing deliveries.
- Follow hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Learn and follow recipes and cooking techniques under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
- Support other team members during busy service hours.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.
- A culinary diploma or certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
